    Wet Meatballs On Bread Recipe

    Ingredients :

    • 300-350 g minced meat
    • 1 small egg
    • 1 small onion
    • 1 clove garlic
    • 1.5 tablespoons bread crumbs
    • Optionally 1 sprig parsley
    • 4-5 slices bread
    • 2 tablespoons butter
    • 2 tablespoons red pepper powder
    • 1/3 cups water or broth
    • Salt
    • Black pepper, thyme, cumin

    Preparation :

    Put the minced meat into a bowl. Add grated onion onto. Break the egg.

    Then add bread crumbs, salt and spices onto minced meat mixture. Knead the mixture for 5 minutes. Then, leave to rest in the fridge for 30 minutes.

    Get walnut-sized pieces from the meatballs mixture . Give your hands a round or oval shape. Put greaseproof paper into oven tray. Put meatballs into tray. Give a preheated 180 degree oven, cook.

    On the other hand, put the bread slices onto a baking tray. Apply butter on them. Fry in the preheated oven for 5-6 minutes.

    Put the butter into a small pan, melt. Add red pepper powder and water onto, heat. Then, put the fried bread onto a serving dish. Pour the butter mixture onto bread. Put the cooked meatballs onto bread. Pour remaining butter mixture onto meatballs. Serve hot.
