For making walnut cocoa cookies; put 200 gr of butter at room temperature and 110 ml olive oil into a deep bowl. Add the yolk of 1 egg and set aside the white to use on the cookies. Then add 1 and a half cups of powdered sugar, 1 cup of starch, 1 packet of baking powder, 1 packet of vanilla, and 2 tablespoons of cocoa to the bowl. The cup measure we used in the recipe is 200 ml.
Then gradually add about 3 cups of flour over the ingredients and knead. The consistency of the cookie will be a dough that does not stick to the hand, neither too soft nor too hard.
On the other hand, put crushed walnuts and the egg white you set aside earlier into separate bowls. Take pieces slightly smaller than a walnut from the cookie dough. Roll them in your hand. First, dip one side of the dough into the egg white. Then dip it into the crushed walnuts. Repeat the same process until all the cookie dough is finished. Arrange the prepared walnut cocoa cookies on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper. Place in a preheated oven at 170 degrees. Bake for about 25 minutes until the tops of the cookies crack.
After the walnut cookies are cooked, take them out of the oven and let them cool. You can serve them after they cool down.
