    Menemen Recipe

    Ingredients :

    • 3 eggs
    • 1 small onion
    • 2 cloves garlic
    • 3 pieces green pepper
    • 2 medium tomatoes
    • 1 tablespoon butter
    • Salt, black pepper, dry mint

    Preparation :

    Finely chop the onion and garlic. Cut tomatoes into mini cubes. Cut green pepper into thin rings.

    Then, put the butter into a large pan, melt. Put chopped onions and garlic in to the pan. Sauté for 2-3 minutes. Then add green pepper, sauté for 2 minutes. Add the chopped tomatoes. Put salt, black pepper and dry mint. Mix, cover the pan. Cook tomatoes and peppers until tender.

    On the other hand, break the eggs into a deep bowl and beat well. Pour egg onto cooked tomato mixture. Stirring constantly, cook the eggs.

    Remove cooked menemen from heat. Serve hot.
