Chop the leeks into small pieces. Then grate the carrot. Sote the chopped leeks and grated carrot into olive oil for about 10 minutes. Then leave to cool.
Add minced meat into a deep bowl. Break an egg on minced meat. Add cooked vegetables, a litle chopped parsley, flour and bread crumbs. Stir in salt and spices. Knead all the material thoroughly.
Leave the prepared leek meatballs to rest at 10 minutes.
Then, get walnut-sized pieces from the mixture. Give shape with your hand and flatten them a little. Cook in hot oil until golden brown.
Take the leek meatballs on to a serving plate. Serve hot.
