For preparing the canned ground meat; first, place a medium-sized wide pot on the stove and let it heat up thoroughly. Put 600 g of ground meat into the heated pot. Begin sauteing the ground meat over medium heat, stirring constantly. To ensure your ground meat remains crumbly, you can pour 3-4 tablespoons of water (60 ml) over it during this step.
Continue sautéing the ground meat, stirring occasionally, until it releases and then reabsorbs its water. When the ground meat has completely absorbed its water, only the fat should remain at the bottom of the pot. At this stage, add salt to the ground meat and continue sauteing for about 1 more minute. You should add slightly more salt than usual. This is important for the storage period.
Next, while the sautéed ground meat is still hot, fill it into 2 small jars by pressing it down with a spoon. Leave about 1 cm of empty space at the top of the jars. Immediately after, close the jar lids tightly. During this process, the jars will be vacuum-sealed by the heat of the meat. Make sure to sterilize your jars and lids before use and ensure they are clean. Be sure to use new lids. In this way, leave the jars on the counter for 1 day until they completely cool and are vacuum-sealed.
If the lids of the prepared canned ground meat are depressed inwards, it means they have been successfully vacuum-sealed. You can store these preserves in a cool, dry place away from sunlight for a long time. Once opened, you must store them in the refrigerator. You can use the ground meat prepared with this method in your desired meals later on.
