Peel the potatoes and boil in water.
Put the boiled potatoes into a mixing bowl. Add 1 tablespoon butter, salt, and a small bowl of grated parmesan cheese. Mash them with a help of spoon. Take walnut sized pieces of mashed potatoes at your hand. Roll and make small balls.
Roll the small potatoes balls onto chopped parsley, thyme, red pepper, black cumin, grated carrot or cheddar/parmesan cheese.
Put the prepared potatoes balls onto a serving plate and serve.
