Homemade Fresh Ricotta Cheese Recipe

Ingredients :

  • 1 liter raw milk
  • 5 tablespoons grape vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Preparation :

Milk pour into the steel saucepan and put it onto the stove. Milk cook until bubbles over high heat.

Remove the milk from heat. Add vinegar into and stir with a wooden spoon 1-2 minutes. Then add salt, stir 1-2 times. Close the lid of the pot. Wrap tightly with a thick kitchen cloth. Rest to 3 hours.

On the other hand, place wire mesh filter onto a deep bowl. Put the cheesecloth onto wire mesh filter.

Pour mixture over cheesecloth. Leave to drain for about 2 hours. Hold the cheesecloth from the end, remove it. Squeezing the cheesecloth from the top, then drain.

Leave to rest homemade fresh ricotta cheese in the fridge for 3-4 hours. Then, serve.
