Wash the carrots, then grate them in a deep bowl.
Break an egg into the grated carrots. Then, add flour, salt and red pepper. Mix all the material with the help of a spoon untill it gets a little solid consistency.
If you wish, you can add a little dill, parsley or grated zucchini.
Put vegetable oil in a large skillet. Heat the oil. Then, take a tablespoon of prepared vegetable mixture, put it over to the heated oil. Try not to be too thick. You press lightly on the back side of the spoon on them. Fry on both of the patties. In order to take excess oil at patties, you can use a paper towel.
Finally, take the cooked carrot patties to a serving dish. Serve cold.
